About Chuck

BA (Hons) Professional Stage Management

Chuck is a hardworking and passionate Company and Stage Manager. He graduated from The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2015, with a degree in Professional Stage Management and has since been employed by a wide variety of theatre companies in the UK and worldwide.

After working in Stage Management on a number of shows after graduating, Chuck soon realised that is was the Company Management side of the roles he enjoyed the most. He now centres his work around the role of Company Manager and feels this is the position that he excels in and works to his full potential. He still enjoys Stage Managing when given the opportunity to.

Chuck has been afforded terrific experience within large and small cultural organisations, resulting in a broad understanding of how different people work within the fields of both commercial and non-commercial entertainment. Treating hurdles with a generosity of spirit has always allowed him to conscientiously reach desired goals.

Chuck’s previous performing experience within Musical Theatre has given him a great knowledge of effective ways to manage large companies of performers and technical staff. The importance of understanding and determining other people's characters is invaluable within the roles Chuck is currently completing and his performing background really assists with this.

He is trained in First Aid and Health and Safety at Work and has a full, clean driving licence. During his graduating year at BOVTS, he was awarded the 'Douglas Morris Stage Management Prize' for his achievement in Stage Management whilst at the school.
